A real sky, carefully reconstructed.
Real catalogue stars and deterministic calculations. Selected Skyfield/JPL and Stellarium reference cases pass. Supported Gregorian dates: 1950–2050. An experimental artistic reconstruction with documented approximations.
Calculation record & limits
Gregorian dates only. No stellar annual aberration, parallax or radial velocity corrections. UT1 approximates modern UTC; before 1960 the ISO field represents civil universal time. Future timezone laws can change. Planet magnitudes and lunar illumination are approximations; circle sizes are design symbols, not angular diameters. Weather, daylight glare and naked-eye visibility are not simulated.
